Ingredients

  • Okra [ladies finger, bhindi] - 200 g
  • Rice flour / corn flour- 1/4 cup
  • Schezwan sauce - 3 tbsp
  • Soya sauce - 2 tbsp
  • Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
  • Asafoetida – ½  tbsp
  • Salt as needed
  • Oil for deep frying
  • Water - 2 tbsp

Method

  • Wash & Cut okra into equal size pieces
  • In a bowl take okra,schezwan sauce, soya sauce, turmeric powder, Asafetida, salt & 3 tbsp water mix well.
  • Heat oil in a pan add rice flour, okra pieces mix well.
  • Heat oil in a pan, sprinkle okra slices, deep fry till and golden brown.
  • Once its ready, remove it from oil.
  • Drain on absorbent paper, serve hot with tea, coffee or rice
