No fry motichoor Ladoo [No Oil] By

Ingredients

  • Chana dal - 1 cup
  • Sugar - 3/4 cup
  • Water - 1/4 cup
  • Ghee - 4 tbsp
  • Cardamom powder- 1/2 tsp
  • Cashews, pista & Raisin - 2 tbsp
  • Saffron - 1 tsp

Preparation

  • Heat pan, add chana dal, roast till you get nice aroma / roast till light brown
  • Wash then soak roasted chana dal for 1 hour
  • Then drain water completely
  • Put it in a mixie jar, grind without water
  • Heat pan add 1 tbsp ghee, roast nuts 7 Raisins
  • Then add ground chana dal, roast till colour changes to light brown [Or roast for 5 min]
  • Then let it cool & grind
  • Heat pan add 3/4 cup sugar, 1/4 cup water, let it boil till 1 string consistency
  • Add chana dal mixture, cardamom powder, nuts, raisins, & 2 tbsp ghee mix well for 1 min
  • Then cover lid, keep it aside for 5 to 8 min
  • 8 min later, mix well, then divide the dough into equal size balls
  • Let it cool then store it in an airtight container use within 30 days
