Ingredients

  • Dried green peas - 1 cup
  • Coconut - 3 tbsp
  • Carrot - 3 tbsp
  • Mango - 3 tbsp
  • Green chilli - 3
  • Hing - 1/2 tsp
  • Mustard - 1 tbsp
  • Coriander, curry leaves - 2 springs
  • Red chilli powder -1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder -1/2 tsp
  • Oil - 1.5 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as required

Preparation

  • Wash and soak green Dried green peas overnight. Then drain water.
  • Boil Dried green peas in cooker for 4 whistles.
  • Heat oil in a pan then add mustard seeds.
  • Then add Hing, curry leaves, green chilli saute.
  • Add coconut, Turmeric & red chilli powder mix well.
  • Add Mango, Carrot mxi well cut off heat
  • Then add boiled green peas and salt mix well.
  • Then add coriander leaves & remaining coconut mix well.
  • Serve hot
