Ingredients

  • Maida - 1&1/4 cup
  • Melted butter - 1/4 cup
  • Baking soda -1/4 tsp
  • Curd - 2 tbsp
  • Sugar -1 tsp
  • Water as required
  • Oil for deep frying

Ingredients for Sugar syrup:-

  • Sugar - 1 cup
  • Water - 1/2 cup
  • Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
  • Safron -1 tsp
  • Pista - 1 tbsp

Preparation Method

  • In a bowl add melted butter/dalda/ oil, curd, sugar, beat well for 2 min
  • Then add maida/wheat flour, baking soda mix well
  • Add water, make soft dough, cover lid, leave it for 15 min
  • For sugar syrup:- Add water, sugar, boil until 1 string consistency
  • Add cardamom, saffron, cut off heat.
  • You can add 1 tsp lemon juice to avoid crystalization, cover lid, keep it aside
  • 15 min later divide the dough into equal size balls, then make floral shape
  • Heat oil in a pan, drop floral badusha, deep fry until crisp and golden brown on low-medium flame
  • Once its ready, remove it from oil, drain on absorbent paper
  • Drop it in sugar syrup, leave it for 5 min then let it cool
  • Store in an airtight container, use with in 1 week
