Ingredients

  • Wheat flour - 2 cups
  • Rava -3 tbsp
  • Ghee -2 tbsp
  • Carom seeds -1 tbsp
  • Red chilli powder -1 tbsp
  • Pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Asafoetida - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as required
  • Oil for deep frying

Preparation Method

  • In a bowl add Wheat flour, Rava, Ghee,Carom seeds, Red chilli powder, Pepper powder,Asafoetida, salt mxi well
  • Add water, knead it to make semi-soft dough, cover it, keep it aside for 20 min
  • Divide the dough into equal size balls
  • Rollout into thin sheet, cut into rectangle shape, then make markings in the middle, then stick edges 2 times then make leaf shape
  • Heat oil in a pan, drop it deep fry until crisp and godlen brown on low-medium flame
  • Once its ready, drain on absorbent paper, let it cool, store in an airtight container, use within 2 weeks
