How to make Pori urundai-Puffed Rice Balls shorts in 1 min video


Main Ingredients

  • Puffed rice - 3 cups
  • Jaggery - 1 cup
  • Water - 1/4 cup
  • Dry ginger powder/cardamom powder - 1 tsp [optional]

Preparation

  • Roast puffed rice for 2 min [Dont burn]
  • Heat pan add jaggery & water[Apr 1/4 cup] let it melt then boil till soft ball forming consistency.
  • Add puffed rice/ pori, cardamom, dry ginger powder & ghee mix well
  • Let it cool for 2 to 3 min only
  • Grease your palm with rice flour or ghee then make balls in warm stage.
  • Then let it cool & keep in an airtight container & use within 7 days
