Ingredients

  • Thinai [Foxtail millet ] – 1 cup
  • Honey – ½ cup
  • Green Cardamom-2
  • Cashewnuts – 5
  • Saffron, pistachio for garnishing

Preparation

  • Wash & soak thinai for 2 hours.
  • Drain water completely then spread over the cotton cloth to absorb extra moisture on the rice.
  • Dry roast Thinai arisi till you get nice aroma [Apr. 4 to 5 min], let it cool then finely grind
  • In a bowl add ground thinai powder mixture & honey, mix well.
  • Divide the mixture into equal size ladoos.
  • Store it in an airtight container use within 5 days.
