Name Wheat Golkuntha (Wheat Sweat)

Ingredients

Wheat flour- 1 cup
Sugar- 1 cup
Milk- 1 cup
Ghee / Vanaspathy - 1/2 cup

Preparation

  • In a pan heat the Ghee / Vanaspathy
  • Mix wheat flour and fry till it turns to brown
  • Add sugar and mix well
  • Pour milk
  • Serve after 3 hours

Name Munagakaya Mamidi Kaya kuuraa

Ingredients

Drumstick (Murungakkai)-1
Mango (Mangai)-1
Onion- 4 cup
Tomatoes- 1 cup
Chilli Powder-2 tbs
Turmeric Powder- 1 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1 tbsp
Curry Leaves
Salt
Oil

Preparation

  • Cut Drumstick and Mango into pieces and keept it aside.
  • In a pan heat the oil and add the mustard seed.
  • Fry finely chopped onions till get brown.
  • Add chopped Tomatoes, curry leaves, Chilli Powder, Turmeric Powder.
  • Now mix the drumstick and mango pieces and add little water.
  • Add little water then stir well.
  • Do the same till gravy turns thick.
  • Add salt.
