Simple dal curry By

Ingredients

  • Toor dal – 1 cup
  • Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
  • Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds – ½ tbsp
  • Peppercorns - 5
  • Dry red chilli - 1
  • Curry leaves – 1 spring
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil – 2 tbsp
  • Ghee – 2 tbsp

Preparation

  • Boil toor dal with turmeric powder in cooker for 4 whistles.
  • Heat pan with oil put mustard seeds, cumin seeds, peppercorns, dry red chilli and curry leaves.
  • Add boiled toor dal, salt mix well. Add ghee then serve hot with rice.
