Ingredients

  • Raw mango[Mangai] – 1
  • Jaggery – ½ cup [grated]
  • Salt a pinch

For tempering / seasoning

  • Oil – 1 tbsp
  • Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp
  • Curry leaves – 1 spring
  • Green chilli – 1 [chopped] or slit lengthwise

Method

  • Wash & cut raw mango in to cubes.
  • Heat water in a pan add chopped mango & let it boil.
  • Add grated jaggery let it boil & thickenes then add salt
  • Heat oil in a pan add mustard, let it crackle then add green chilli & curry leaves
  • Add seasoned ingredients & cut off heat & serve.
