Mangalore buns with wheat flour

Ingredients

  • Wheat flour – 1 cup
  • Banana - 1 [fully riped]
  • Sugar - 2 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds -1 tbsp
  • Curd - 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Water As needed
  • Oil for deep frying

Method

  • In a bowl add banana & sugar mash well.
  • Add cumin, wheat flour, salt mix all , add water slowly knead it & make soft dough. Cover it and leave it for 5 hours.
  • Divide the dough in to equal size balls.
  • Take a ball, roll it over on the flour, place it on the chapathi making stone, and Roll over chapthi roller from bottom to top, take it off and change the position.
  • Repeat the process till you get the round or equivalent to round shape.
  • Heat oil in a pan then deep fry till golden brown.
  • Then remove from oil & Serve hot with any gravy.
