Instant schezwan fried rice

Ingredients

  • Long grain basmati rice– 1 cup [Boiled]
  • Cabbage – ½ cup [Boiled]
  • Carrot - 3 tbsp [finely chopped]
  • Cabbage -3 tbsp [finely chopped]
  • Schezwan chutney – 4 tbsp [For kids:- Use only 1 tbsp]
  • Onion – 1 [finely chopped]
  • Garlic - 3 Cloves [finely chopped]
  • Spring onion - 2 tbsp [chopped]
  • Pepper powder - 1 tbsp
  • Groundnut oil – 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Preparation

  • Heat oil in a pan add garlic, onion sauté.
  • Add carrots, capsicum, cabbage, Schezwan chutney sauté gently.
  • Add basmati rice sauté well for 2 to 3 min.
  • Finally add spring onion & pepper powder. Then cut off heat & serve immediately

Tip

  • For variations:-You can add any veg toppings like sauted mushrooms, tofu, spinach, paneer, green peas or broccoli etc.
  • You can add lemon juice & soya sauce for extra flavour
