Ingredients

  • Cornmeal [Corn rava, makka solam] - 1 cup
  • Milk - 1 cup
  • Water – 1 ½ cup [optional]
  • Saffron – few
  • Jaggery – ½ cup
  • Green cardamom powder - ½ tbsp
  • Cashew nuts - 5
  • Raisins - 6
  • Pistachio - 4
  • Almonds [sliced] -3
  • Ghee - 3 tbsp

Preparation

  • Dry roast cornmeal.
  • Heat pan with ghee then roast cashew nuts, raisins, pistachio and almonds keep it aside.
  • In the same pan add milk, water, roasted cornmeal & cook till soft [apr 15 to 20 min]. Then add jaggery mix well.
  • Add ghee roasted cashew nut, raisins, pistachio and almonds slices.
  • Finally add cardamom powder & saffron then cut off heat.
  • Serve hot or cold.
