Ingredients

  • Dosa/ Idli batter – 1 cup
  • Beetroot juice – ¼ cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil – 1 tbsp
  • Water as needed.

Method

  • In a bowl add dosa batter, beetroot juice, salt mix well.
  • Heat Dosa pan and brush oil then pour batter & spread the batter quickly to round shape and make sure it not too thin. Cover it & cook for 2 min.
  • Once uthappam becomes soft serve hot with chutney or sambar
